I want, again, to use this space to encourage all three of my readers to accept vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, if they have not already done so.\u00a0 In this encouragement, I feel confident that I have the support of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve:<\/p>\n

\u201cChristian nationalism is a barrier to mass vaccination against COVID-19: Some who identify as Christian nationalists believe they will be protected from any disease.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

One of the lesser reasons that I hope people will be vaccinated is this:\u00a0 I want movie theaters to open up to full capacity as soon as they can.\u00a0 The Interpreter Foundation\u2019s theatrical film,\u00a0Witnesses<\/em>, is slated to open on Thursday evening, 3 June 2021, and I want it to succeed.\u00a0 I want it to reach as large an audience as it possibly can.\u00a0 And that will surely require open theaters \u2014 the more open the better (consistent with public health and safety).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

So please, please, get yourself vaccinated!\u00a0 Help your community!\u00a0 Help the Witnesses<\/em> film project succeed!<\/p>\n
