\u201cWitnesses of the Book of Mormon \u2014 Insights Episode 20:\u00a0Who Wrote the Testimony of the Witnesses?<\/em>\u201c<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Every edition of the Book of Mormon has included a copy of the Testimony of the Three Witnesses. Who wrote it? And if each of the three witnesses didn\u2019t actually write the words themselves, does that somehow invalidate that testimony?<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the twentieth in a series compiled from from the many interviews conducted during the course of the Witnesses film project. This series of mini-films is being released each Saturday at 7pm MDT. These additional resources are hosted by Camrey Bagley Fox, who played Emma Smith in\u00a0Witnesses<\/em>, as she introduces and visits with a variety of experts. These individuals answer questions or address accusations against the witnesses, also helping viewers understand the context of the times in which the witnesses lived. This week we feature Daniel C. Peterson, President of the Interpreter Foundation and Executive Producer of\u00a0Witnesses<\/em>. My wife and I spent much of the day at the annual conference of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), which is being held (through Sunday morning) in Salt Lake City, Utah.\u00a0 It was fascinating, as I expected it to be.<\/p>\n
