\u201cNibley Lectures:\u00a0Time Vindicates the Prophets<\/em> \u2014 The Book of Mormon as a Witness\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Between 7 March 1954 and 17 October 1954, Hugh Nibley delivered a series of thirty weekly lectures on KSL Radio that were also published as pamphlets. The series, which was called \u201cTime Vindicates the Prophets,\u201d was given in answer to those who were challenging the right of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints<\/a> to call themselves Christians.<\/p>\n This lecture is a radio talk on the Book of Mormon as a witness of continuing revelation and God\u2019s dealings with mankind.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Audio Roundtable: Come, Follow Me<\/em> Old Testament Lesson 51: \u201cI Have Loved You, Saith the Lord\u201d<\/em>: Malachi<\/a><\/p>\n The Interpreter Radio Roundtable for Come, Follow Me<\/em>\u00a0Old Testament Lesson 51,\u00a0\u201cI Have Loved You, Saith the Lord,\u201d<\/em> on Malachi., was broadcast on 6 November 2022.\u00a0 The panelists in the roundtable were Neal Rappleye, Jasmin Rappleye, Stephen O. Smoot, and Hales Swift.\u00a0 The roundtable has now been extracted from that date\u2019s episode of the Interpreter Radio Show.\u00a0 The complete show may be heard at https:\/\/interpreterfoundation.org\/interpreter-radio-show-November-6-2022\/<\/a>, and The Interpreter Radio Show can be heard live on Sunday evenings from 7 to 9 PM (MDT), on K-TALK, AM 1640.\u00a0 Or, if you have a computer and prefer it, or if you don\u2019t live in the Valley of the Great Salt Lake, you can listen live on the Internet at ktalkmedia.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Come, Follow Me<\/em> \u2014 Old Testament Study and Teaching Helps: Lesson 51, December 12\u201318: Malachi \u2014 \u201cI Have Loved You, Saith the Lord\u201d<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n Once again, Jonn Claybaugh has contributed a concise set of notes for student and teachers of the \u201cCome, Follow Me\u201d curriculum of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n ***<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n This past Saturday afternoon, we visited the 35th annual Christmas cr\u00e8che exhibit<\/a> at the Latter-day Saint chapel on Middlefield Road in Palo Alto, California.\u00a0 (See its Facebook page<\/a>.)\u00a0 It\u2019s a pretty big deal, and it\u2019s back (a little bit smaller, I\u2019m told) after a COVID-induced hiatus of at least a couple of years.\u00a0 (See \u201cThis Latter-day Saint meetinghouse is expected to attract 10,000 visitors in the next 5 days\u2014here\u2019s why.\u201d<\/a>)\u00a0 There were some really beautiful objects on display and, while we were there, the Argentine Latter-day Saint artist Jorge Cocco Sant\u00e1ngelo<\/a> was sitting at the center of the multi-room exhibit working on a painting.\u00a0 Later, he gave some remarks (through a translator) on his vision of religion and art, under the title of \u201cArt and the Sacred Life.\u201d\u00a0 That evening, an attorney and financier by the name of Steve Young<\/a>, who happens also to be a former quarterback for both Brigham Young University and the San Francisco Forty-Niners and who is now a member of the NFL Hall of Fame, was slated to speak on \u201cJesus and the Law of Love\u201d as a part of the cr\u00e8che event.<\/p>\n However, I was unable to attend Brother Young\u2019s speech, because I myself had a speaking engagement elsewhere.\u00a0 (Poor guy.\u00a0 I really regretted cutting into his audience.).
