What is the legacy that I will preserve for the generations,\u00a0bottled up for discovery one day by the curious time travelers?\u00a0What will we wash away with the spin cycle of time, chalked up to what\u00a0was yesterday?<\/div>\n
\nWe sat in the middle of the floor, surrounded by thousands of photos.\u00a0My sister and I were overwhelmed by these collected images from the\u00a0generations of our family.\u00a0<\/span>The photos were from\u00a0both sides of the family tree, with many protruding branches.\u00a0It was disorganized, almost hopelessly so. The\u00a0photo locations, age, and bloodlines were all mixed together like a random time machine.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\nStories are used to spur conversation. But in a deeper way, they are tools to help us never forget, to perpetuate the memory. I<\/span>n ancient times, legends were passed on through crude drawings on\u00a0walls. Stories were told around the fire and values passed from\u00a0generation to generation through carefully scripted traditions.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
