As a boy, there was nothing I loved more than to be with my Dad while he built things in his workshop.\n<\/div>\n

With precision and deft skill, Dad grasped each board.\u00a0 He carefully measured twice and then with a confident cut, sawed it in two. Each piece would fit perfectly like a complicated puzzle.\u00a0 Although he used the tools of his trade \u2014\u00a0 hammer, saw, screwdriver \u2014\u00a0 it was ultimately his hands that impressed me most.\u00a0 They were strong, skilled, and stable.\u00a0 \n

And his eyes danced with the thrill of making something. Whistling below his breath, he would happily construct his work of art.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In my little eyes, my dad could make anything.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

As an adult, I observe God\u2019s creation with the same wide-eyed wonder.\u00a0 I see his hand all around me in the most intricate ways.\u00a0 From the vast stretch of the plains to the towering rise of the mountains, I behold His fingerprint.\u00a0<\/i>\n<\/div>\n
\n
From the sunrise beaming on my face to the gentle breeze blowing on the back of my neck, Creation speaks His name<\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0 \n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Science, once regarded as the antithesis of Christian belief, is now the proof of the intelligent design and intricate detail of a compassionate Creator.\n<\/div>\n
\n\n
\n
In the\u00a0\u201cwork\u201d of\u00a0Creation,\u00a0 it doesn\u2019t take too much imagination to see\u00a0God smiling while he worked.\u00a0 With great joy<\/em>, he painted the stripes on the zebra\u2019s back.\u00a0 With\u00a0 a chuckle<\/em>, he fashioned the hyena\u2019s bark.\u00a0 With a palette of happy colors<\/em> he zealously, yet carefully dabbed the parrot\u2019s feathers.\u00a0 With hilarity<\/em>, he inflated the blowfish\u2019s gills.\u00a0 With a wry smile<\/em>, he stretched the neck of the giraffe.\u00a0\u00a0 \n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nLike my Dad, whistling in the workshop, I have to believe that God loves<\/em> the creative process. <\/span>\n

He loves his work. So what\u2019s my excuse?<\/span><\/p>\n
