He did not have the courage or courtesy to notify me directly\u2013even by voice mail or
E-Mail. Instead, he told a rival co-worker who leveraged this information to undermine and damage my reputation with my consulting firm.<\/em>
<\/em>
\u201cNormally, I could write this off as \u2018just business,\u2019 but his \u2018red letter\u2019 words set higher expectations of his behavior and deepened the injury inflicted. Although the experience gave me a deeper understanding , I
would have preferred not to know he was a fellow believer. If you cannot
act ethically or treat people with dignity, please just
blend-in!\u201d<\/strong><\/em>
<\/strong><\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/p><\/em><\/em>Like you, I have been around \u201cChristians\u201d who were very vocal about their faith, but whose actions didn\u2019t back up their proclamation. I would cringe and duck and hope that the God-talk doesnt occur around me. I didn\u2019t want to be guilty by association. <\/div>\n

<\/div>\nDo you go to school or work with proclaiming Christians who you just wish would keep quiet<\/em>?<\/div>\n<\/div>\nPlease, share with a friend if you feel moved.
