\u201cMy trust was misplaced.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThey disappointed me.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re not worthy of my respect.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThey should pay.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Have you ever felt this way about your superiors? If you work at some place like AIG or Enron, who could argue with your feelings? But this kind of frustration goes on at workplaces all across America and nearly everyone, at some point or another, has had some sort of animosity towards those in charge.<\/p>\n But here\u2019s the question you need to answer: Is your frustration about them or is it about you?<\/em><\/p>\n How much expectation have you piled on the heads of those above you? How high and precarious is the pedestal you\u2019ve placed these frail, human forms to sit upon? And what did you do to keep them from falling hard, cold ground of failure?<\/p>\n Maybe it\u2019s time to let go of some of that expectation and see the bosses for what they are \u2013 flawed humans prone to sin and failure<\/em>. They\u2019re an awful like like you and me.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re going to put your faith in someone, stick with Jesus.
