One of the most widespread workplace issues is theft<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Larceny, corruption, and cooking the books are so commonplace, that they are almost the expected. These kinds of shenanigans are helping lead us to a place of continual distrust \u2013 we don\u2019t trust government, we don\u2019t trust business, we don\u2019t even trust churches \u2013 all because others have stolen and we suspect that everyone is too.<\/p>\n

This lack of trust leads to inordinate reporting, audits and mindless double-checks. It slows productivity and displaces the air in a workplace with one that reeks of suspicion.<\/p>\n

How do we \u2013 as Red Letter Believers<\/a> \u2013 turn things around?<\/p>\n

First, we need to set the table of excellence. \u201cAnd whatever you do, in word or in act, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving praise to God the Father through him.\u201d <\/em>Col 3.17<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

And we need to quit compromising<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We should be prompt with our time reporting, accurate with our statistics and honest with our billing. It\u2019s never right to get things the wrong way.<\/p>\n
