\nCobra Commander:<\/b> And your point being?
\nTramp:<\/b> Well that\u2019s the most sure way to defeat villains isn\u2019t it?
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Yeah no not really.
\nTramp:<\/b> B-but\u2026 I explained why communism doesn\u2019t work!
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Right and\u2026 considering I\u2019m a tyrant and not a communist\u2026 doesn\u2019t really mean anything to me?
\nDagny:<\/b> You have to agree with us now though, right, that communism is a bad thing.
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Ugh look\u2026 I\u2019m here to rob you guys, not get into debates about the merits of various socio-economic systems.
\nTramp:<\/b> Because you know by doing so you\u2019ll be defeated by us!
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> No! Because converting one capitalist company to a communist one in the midst of a broader capitalist system doesn\u2019t really prove much of anything.
\nDagny:<\/b> It proves everything, like how helping other people is bad and being selfish is good except when it\u2019s bad which is when you lie about being selfish!
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Look the vast majority of businesses fail, and all fail eventually. Does every capitalist business that\u2019s ever crashed prove that capitalism is bad?
\nTramp:<\/b> It proves capitalism is great!
\nDagny:<\/b> Right, because obviously those businesses had bad people working for them or they would have survived.
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Shockingly I\u2019ve noticed that you guys never seem to address the customer or the market in your talks about the failure or success of businesses\u2026
\nDagny:<\/b> The what now?
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> You know, the people buying your products?
\nTramp:<\/b> I\u2019m sorry who?
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Right\u2026 forgot the kind of people I was talking with for a second\u2026 Anyway you\u2019ve admitted everyone at your company was willing to lie and backstab one another so I\u2019m not sure how healthy a work environment it could have been. I mean yes most of the people who work under me are willing to lie and backstab one another but we are a ruthless terrorist organization so that kind of goes with the territory.
\nTramp:<\/b> Ah but see as long as we were willing to do such shady and underhanded things in service of capitalism we were golden!
\nDagny:<\/b> Yes as I said it\u2019s when selfishness is turned to the evil of helping one another that it becomes perverted into a twisted bad kind of selfishness that causes the collapse of everyone, as opposed to a healthy selfishness that causes the collapse of everyone.
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Wait what? I\u2026 look you\u2019re basically saying everyone gets screwed over in either system aren\u2019t you?
\nTramp:<\/b> Oh of course.
\nDagny:<\/b> Oh absolutely, everyone is pretty much horrible it\u2019s just that in my preferred system I\u2019m one of the people who cashes out in the end.
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Wow\u2026 what a horribly cynical view of the world\u2026 and man I really hate you guys for actually making ME say that.
\nDagny:<\/b> Aha! We\u2019re weakening him!
\nTramp:<\/b> Indeed!
\nCobra Commander:<\/b> Okay but wasn\u2019t the whole point of this dang speech to get to the whole John Galt thing?
\nTramp:<\/b> Oh yeah I forgot to mention I just knew a guy named John Galt who talked about destroying the world and he disappeared so I wonder if it might have been him.
