Periodically, people will write to me, wondering why I don\u2019t post about the alleged apparitions in the former Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n

I have a couple reasons.<\/p>\n

First, as a member of the clergy, I don\u2019t believe that I should be endorsing unapproved Marian apparitions.<\/p>\n

And secondly: I keep coming across\u00a0essays like this one.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I know many devout people who are true believers. \u00a0But as for me: I\u2019ll await the judgment of the Holy See.<\/p>\n
