Details:\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n During the sermon,\u00a0preacher Jim Standridge<\/a>, 76, of the\u00a0Immanuel Baptist Church<\/a>\u00a0in Skiatook, Okla., begins by calling out a congregant for falling asleep.<\/p>\n Shortly afterward, he singles out another man nearby, asking him, \u201cWhere have you been?\u201d and following up by saying, \u201cYou\u2019re one of the sorriest church members I have! You\u2019re not worth 15 cents.\u201d\u00a0Standridge<\/a>\u00a0then abruptly changes his tone: He tells the man to stand up, says he loves him and gives him a hug.<\/p>\n Still, the man appears not to have been comforted by the hug. In a comment on Facebook, although he calls Standridge \u201ca good man,\u201d he adds that \u201cthings were not done right that morning\u201d and that\u00a0he was \u201cshocked and hurt\u201d by his preacher\u2019s comments.<\/a><\/p>\n As the sermon continues, the video shows Standridge calling out other churchgoers. He appears to become the most worked up over the man operating the church camera. \u201cIf you loved me and submitted to me,\u201d Standridge thunders, \u201cyou wouldn\u2019t go about establishing your own kingdom in the video room!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a man of order, and we owe no one an answer for that,\u201d Standridge said on the phone Monday when reached for comment by The Huffington Post. \u201cWhat concern is it of me what a carnal world thinks of this?\u201d<\/p>\n Standridge, who said he has been preaching for 50 years (24 of which have been at the Immanuel Baptist Church, where the video was filmed), added that he disciplines members of his church the way parents discipline a child. He said his church \u201capplauds him\u201d and that his congregants \u201clove and esteem\u201d him. Nevertheless, he said he finds it the \u201cbiggest joke of the century that this video is going viral.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n See the results for yourself below.<\/p>\n
