From The Evangelist<\/a> <\/strong>(h\/t Mary DeTurris Poust):<\/p>\n For Al Censullo, the path to becoming a deacon started in his hometown of Boston \u2014 or, as the Red Sox fan would put it, before he entered \u201cenemy territory.\u201d<\/p>\n Throughout his life, Deacon Censullo said, he \u201calways had a desire to learn about my faith.\u201d He chose to act on that desire four years ago when he began studying for the diaconate.<\/p>\n On May 19, Deacon Censullo was ordained a permanent deacon for the Albany Diocese along with fellow permanent deacon Doug Erickson \u2014 a close friend of Deacon Censullo\u2019s, since they studied together \u2014 and Deacons Kyle Eads and Samuel Bellafiore, who were ordained as transitional deacons as part of their path to priesthood.<\/p>\n Just before the ordination, Deacon Censullo told The Evangelist that he was \u201cpretty excited.\u201d Even though studies, work and personal life were \u201ca lot to juggle\u201d during the formation process, he said, now he gets to do what he was \u201ccalled to do.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t know how to do it all, [but] somehow it all got done,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Read it all and check out more pictures here.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n And the ordination Mass can be viewed in the video below.<\/p>\n Congratulations, brothers, and welcome!
