The Pennsylvania native was adored by his friends and family \u2013 particularly his two brothers \u2013 and he dedicated his life to them and the church, which Jennifer says was the first love of his life.<\/span><\/p>\nShe explained: \u2018The church was the most important thing in his life. I was his wife and he loved me so much, but his faith came first.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n\u2018When he asked me to marry him he said, \u201cI want us both to be saints and for us to go to heaven together, side by side\u201d. In his mind our marriage had three people, him, me and God.<\/span><\/p>\n\u2018Nathan actually said I was a better Christian than he could ever be, he said I had a child-like faith, I\u2019m not sure if that\u2019s true, but I never doubted God and this hasn\u2019t changed that. Now I just want to become closer to him so I can see Nate again.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\nAlthough he has been described as incredibly humble and gracious, Jennifer says Nathan always believed he was destined for something special and was determined to leave his mark on life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u2018He had told me he thought he was made for great things, not in an arrogant or presumptuous way\u2019, Jennifer explained.<\/span><\/p>\n\u2018I\u2019m not sure he really knew what, but he just felt something. He wanted to be a teacher, so he could have an impact on people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u2018In the last few days people have told me they are going back to church because of Nate\u2019s story.
