One of the members of my parish choir recently moved to Florida, and was looking for a job as a leader of song at a parish down there. She\u2019s accustomed to singing, regularly, things like \u201cAve Verum,\u201d \u201cPanis Angelicus,\u201d \u201cJesu, Joy of Man\u2019s Desiring.\u201d Along with the usual seasonal chestnuts like \u201cOnce in Royal David\u2019s City\u201d and \u201cAurora Coelum Purpurat\u201d and \u201cPange Lingua Gloriosi\u201d. You know. Stuff like that.<\/p>\n
She got in touch with a few parishes in her new neighborhood. She eventually found one that needed a singer, and even ended up chanting the \u201cExultet\u201d at the Easter Vigil.<\/p>\n
