Meet Deacon Frank Bice, from the Diocese of Rockville Centre, a former seminarian who suffered a debilitating football injury in college but has turned it into an opportunity to minister to people around the world, via the web.<\/p>\n

My feeling was, let\u2019s try to stay positive, and make the most of it.\u201d<\/p>\n The YouTube commentaries, called \u201cDaily Hope,\u201d touch on everything from\u00a0Mike Tyson<\/a> and his trainer\u00a0Cus D\u2019Amato<\/a>, to\u00a0Miami Heat<\/a> star\u00a0LeBron James<\/a>, to the\u00a0Peace Corps<\/a>\u2018 first director, Sargent Shriver, to Bice\u2019s days at Yale Divinity School.<\/p>\n The videos are attracting hundreds of viewers, including a\u00a0Middlebury College<\/a> lacrosse star who says they help his game. \u201cHe\u2019s someone I really look up to,\u201d said John Duvnjak, a former All-American at Manhasset High School. \u201cHe\u2019s always been an inspirational person.\u201d<\/p>\n At St. Mary\u2019s\u00a0Roman Catholic Church<\/a> in Manhasset, where Bice is a deacon, the Rev.
