I posted on this a couple days back<\/a><\/strong>, and now the Dominican priest at the center of the story is revealed:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Meet Father Jude McPeak, a Dominican friar, an active member of the St. Paul\u2019s Catholic Church network, and the man of the cloth whose great\u00a0habit contributed to the biggest\u00a0false alarm IU has encountered since Read Residence Center\u2019s most recent literal false alarm.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s actually been an active member of the community since he became an ordained priest and came to St. Paul\u2019s in Bloomington two years ago. In fact, he was doing the Lord\u2019s work with students the night of his rise to IU celebrity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI help run a men\u2019s group that meets in the Wright formal lounge Monday nights,\u201d Father Jude explained.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t know his white-robed presence was causing mass alarm when he went with the student group to the 10th St. Red Mango. It wasn\u2019t until the next day he realized how much things had been blown out of proportion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was kind of funny,\u201d Father Jude said. \u201cA lot of my friends have been teasing me. It\u2019s been humbling.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
