In my line, we use some variation of this invocation for most rituals. \u00a0I like to have some sort of basic structure, around which we can make changes pertinent to the work.<\/p>\n

You will notice that there are no Names used in this prayer. \u00a0We work more with the spirits of *this* time and place, which is always changing. \u00a0After this invocation, I might call on Brigid because she is one of my Mothers. \u00a0Another person might call on Cernunnos, his patron. \u00a0Someone else might ask the spirit of their grandmother to be present. \u00a0Those invocations are often intensely personal and spoken directly from the heart in the moment.<\/p>\n

The open willing earth<\/p>\n

Flowering compassion<\/p>\n

Rooted in love<\/p>\n

Gods of fire and beauty<\/p>\n

The first thrusting green<\/p>\n

Brilliant joy<\/p>\n

Growing in strength<\/p>\n

All helpful Beings<\/p>\n

of change and truth and trust<\/p>\n

of all wisdom and \"spring<\/a>every age<\/p>\n

Be with us this Equinox day<\/p>\n

That we may learn to wield our power with grace<\/p>\n
