Bryan Fischer, never one to be bothered by pesky things like facts, claimed on his radio show on Monday that Japan does not allow mosques, Qurans or Muslim immigration. That is, of course, completely false. He apparently got a chain email making that claim and repeated it without using that newfangled Google thingy. And of course, he supports that idea and wishes America would do the same thing that Japan isn’t doing.

This is an amusing exchange on Bryan Fischer’s radio show, where a caller tells him, “it says in the Bible that if we get rid of Islam then the one-world government is going to move in and the bankers are backing up the one-world government.” Uh, it does? Fischer “corrects” him by saying that Satan is using Islam as a “counterfeit” to Christianity, which proves we’re in the end times. “I’ll see your bullshit and raise you even more bullshit.”

Bryan Fischer delivers a diatribe about how much he loves gay people, how he’s sad when he sees them “falling prey to that disease; there’s a sickness there, there is a pathology associated with homosexual behavior.” Then he diagnoses millions of people he’s never met:

Pastor Terry Jones’ plan to burn 3000 copies of the Quran on 9/11 was thwarted when police pulled him over and arrested him for illegal conveying of fuel (he had soaked them in kerosene and was driving down the road with them and more kerosene in a truck). And Bryan Fischer says that makes Jones just like Jesus and the police just like the Pharisees.

Bryan Fischer got his outrage machine cranked up to 11 on his radio show recently, claiming that now that gay people aren’t thrown out of the military for being gay, Obama “has made it a criminal offense to be a sincerely devoted follower of Jesus Christ” and is engaging in “ethnic cleansing” of Christians. Well as long as you’re being rational about this, Bryan.

Bryan Fischer wants you to know that he’s a victim. So is every other white Christian. In fact, they’re the only group you can openly discriminate against anymore. And by “discriminate,” he means “prevent them from discriminating against others.”

Bryan Fischer delivered another one of his moronic rants about how gay people are just like the Nazi stormtroopers because Hitler was gay and the Nazi party was gay and a whole bunch of other lies from Scott Lively. But of course, that kind of deranged talk won’t stop a single Republican politician from appearing on his radio show.

Here’s a class Bryan Fischer diatribe declaring that liberals “cannot be clued in, you can’t be discerning, you can’t be perceptive, you can’t be wise unless you begin with a holy reverence for God.” Wise like you, Bryan? You’re one of the most virulently ignorant people I’ve ever encountered, a volcano of inanity.

From the Clearly Not Getting the Concept Department, we have Bryan Fischer ranting about a court ruling in New Mexico that says Christian business owners can’t discriminate against gays. Bizarrely, he says that ruling is just like the Jim Crow laws and that “Christians are the new blacks.” Uh, Bryan…the Jim Crow laws were laws that allowed businesses to discriminate against black people. In this analogy, the gay people are the equivalent of the black people and the court is breaking down the equivalent of the Jim Crow Laws.

Rep. Carol Shea-Porter made a perfectly reasonable statement about corporate taxes, saying that the high marginal rate is “just a suggestion.” Clearly she meant that the actual taxes paid by corporations is far lower than the stated rates, and she’s right. The actual rate is about 1/3 of the marginal rate. Bryan Fischer tried to make fun of her for that and missed the mark completely.

Bryan Fischer isn’t a doctor, but he plays one on his radio show. Perhaps some medical school should bring him in to teach a whole new type of diagnosis, since he believes that “unconfessed sin can lead to physical illness.” Because that’s totally rational.

It should come as no surprise that theocrat Bryan Fischer just loves what Russia is doing with its fascist new law that criminalizes even advocacy of equal rights for gay people. The Voice of Russia bizarrely refers to Fischer as an “expert.” In what? I have no idea.
