\nI was such before, blown, arms flailing
\nAnd though the ships passed by hailing
\nAll I could think of is solitude prevailing<\/p>\n
Then there was you a lone man sailing
\nThe light was there but faint and ailing
\nAnd as you leaned right over the railing
\nA message of love in the ocean mailing<\/p>\n
Cast into the turmoil in a bottle it went
\nThrough winds and storms it underwent
\nThe message sailed on unbroken unbent
\nNeptune to its safety watched, no relent<\/p>\n
Cast ashore to her on a shore it was sent
\nFrail mermaid large fishtail of her descent
\nAllowed not walking no flight, just meant
\nTo crawl as time of her days all had spent<\/p>\n
Fallen angel of a heavenly time she knew
\nWhen wings had her high and up she flew
\nThe marine world had turned her so blue
\nTo the darkest of oceans she became a hue<\/p>\n
A message of love she found after curfew
\nFor love at night often creeps on you anew
\nLeaving you in morning covered with dew
