A majority of Indian students studying in the U.S. want to return home after a few years of work, said a survey. According to researchers at Rutgers University, Pennsylvania State University and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, 53 percent of 1,000 respondents are keen to come back to India after finishing their studies.<\/p>\n
The survey has been conducted among students who are doing or have completed masters, PhDs or post-doctorate qualifications. The study showed that only eight percent of Indian students doing post graduation in the U.S. strongly prefer to stay back in the country.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, sixteen percent of the respondents are keen to take up a good job regardless of location, while 21 percent said that they were either in India already or were actively looking to return. Another 2.0 percent were classed as \u201cother\u201d.<\/p>\n
