Late PM\u00a0Rajiv Gandhi\u00a0may have worked as a middleman for\u00a0Swedish company Saab-Scania, which had tried to sell its\u00a0Viggen fighter aircraft\u00a0to India in the 1970s, according to a new release from WikiLeaks.<\/p>\n

Saab-Scania eventually could not\u00a0seal\u00a0the deal, which went to British SEPECAT Jaguar.<\/p>\n

According to a report published in\u00a0The Hindu, Rajiv was considered to be a valuable negotiator because of his family connections, states the paper, citing the Kissinger Cables, the latest bunch of classified cables of the US administration released by WikiLeaks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So he was already working as a middleman even before he had had that \u201csudden change of heart\u201d to take the mantle of the Prime Minister and a politician after his mother\u2019s death. \u00a0Yeah Right!! \u00a0This Wikileak shows he was already being groomed in to the world of corruption well before his entry!<\/p>\n
