The birthplace was probably Mongolia!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 5px;float: left\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ahamburgertoday.com\/images\/20050806Mongols.jpg\"><a href=\"http:\/\/whatscookingamerica.net\/History\/HamburgerHistory.htm\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Some sources<\/a> say it began with the Mongols, who stashed raw beef under their saddles as they waged their campaign to conquer the known world.
