Yesterday, I went to a local desi movie rental store with a friend. He had to rent a movie. As we were looking through the movies, we saw this caucasian lady walk in. She seemed European to me and was looking for \"Lage Raho Munnabhai\". Obviously, the first thought that occured to us was \u2013 do non-Indians also watch movies? Specially Europeans \u2013 who we all imagine would be hollywood fans automatically!?<\/p>\n

There is, unbeknownst to us all, a rather big constituency of fans of bollywood\u2026 who like to watch Indian movies, complete with songs and dances! The one thing that, I guess, increases the charm of Indian movies is that they appeal to the values of all who are non-Americans and touch their hearts! Hollywood movies may have the sophistication and the money power, but if you look at what the world watches with their hearts \u2013 it may very well be a Bollywood movie!<\/p>\n

Hence, it is natural that there will be some folks \u2013 Europeans \u2013 who would be blogging on Bollywood as well.. that is right they do! Here is a little list:<\/p>\n
