Nice picture from Flickr on a topical subject. Things are indeed bad in our neighbouring country Burma. And worse, no one seems interested in helping out!<\/p>\n

\nWhen I was in college we were required to watch a movie entitled, \u201cBeyond Rangoon\u201d \u2013 I thought I was going to be bored to death like I usually am for required materials.<\/p>\n

I remember walking out of the movie house having found my first inspiration as an adult. Freedom for all. After many years later, Aung San Suu Kyi remains one of the most influential and inspirational people in my life.<\/p>\n

For an entire week starting now, everything that I photograph will be dedicated to the people of Burma. I hope they know that they are not alone.<\/p>\n
