Veteran’s issue: – Obama said clearly that the country needs to spend less on a useless war like Iraq.. and spend more on Iraq! McCain? He said he will “take care of veterans”. They know him.. he knows them.. they know he will take care of them. I was thinking last night… what was McCain’s greatest glory in war? That he was a Prisoner of War? And that he came back alive? Ok… so what was HIS accomplishment in that? There are discussions either way.

2. Georgia/Russia: McCain and other testestorone-fed Americans would like to talk tough on Russia – and bring up Cold War! Nothing could be MORE STUPID than that! Russia is NOT Soviet Union! During those times if you hurt Poland it was an attack on USSR. No more. But even today if Russia hits a NATO country it is an attack on USA. So, if at all USA is vulnerable! What can USA do if Russia decides that it will throw 10 nukes (pocket change for them) on Poland and Georgia tomorrow? Bomb Russia? That USA can just not do! So what?

The reality is that USA needs to STOP talking Cold War rhetoric RIGHT AWAY and ENGAGE with Putin rather than pissing him off and calling names!

Obama is ABSOLUTELY right on this and McCain is just SO WRONG!!

3. Iraq and Afghanistan: Ok, just a reality check – calling Iraq’s campaign as a success NOW is nothing but complete NONSENSE! Nobody has succeeded. Fact is that USA has used a set of militias opposed to Al Qaeda to hurt them and been able to command that militia “as of now”. But these militias have a mind of their own… check out this guy called Osama Bin Laden… that was the last time such a “winning strategy” was used! Whatever “peace” has happened is NOT because of the fantastic work of the US Armed forces but a mix of many factors.

I remember when almost all Americans – until last year – used to call Afghanistan a “success” and I used to think that these guys have no freaking idea as to what they are talking about! Taliban and AlQaeda were just preparing! Now they are ready in Pakistan. It is NOT “IF” but “when” the Islamic terrorists will take over the power (and those toys called Nukes) in Pakistan. If anyone understands the mess on the ground in Pakistan even cursorily… one would know this! Pakistan – specifically its Army and ISI – is the epicenter of world terrorism and nuclear proliferation… PERIOD!

And until now, of the two, ONLY Obama has recognized this major fact! So much for the “Excellent Foreign Experience”. Names dropping can impress an completely out of touch American guy in Montana who can’t differentiate between “Qardari” and “Ahmedijad” (both names pronounced WRONG by McCain)… but for the real action on ground… his analysis and understanding is just PLAIN DANGEROUS for USA and the world! Mark my words… if McCain comes and does what he says.. then the possibility of a Nuke attack – from a suitcase or backpack bomb, as Obama SO well put it – goes up exponentiallly!

Oh the economy?
