If the issue had not been settled as yet, here is another study (Aryan Invasion Theory is REALLY a Myth<\/a>). Mapping Human Genetic History in Asia<\/em> is the study conducted in 10 countries including India. From Indian side the team comprised: Council of Scientific and Industrial Research DG Samir Brahmachari, anthropologist Partha Majumdar and researchers from the Centre for Genomic Applications, and eight members and some students from Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), New Delhi.<\/p>\n

Some of the findings of the study:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Ancestors of most Asian Populations (including China and the southeast Asian countries) came from India.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen humans moved out of Africa, there was a migration to India and from India to southeast Asia and then east Asia, and finally to the Americas. So, all Asians have a genetic connection with India,\u201d Mitali Mukerji, a scientist from the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology who was in the team, said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u2013 There were remarkable similarities<\/em> between South Indian population and some populations in Malaysia and Singapore.
\n\u2013 North Indian and South Indians were also found to be genetically connected as there are similarities in the gene structures.<\/p>\n
