Strange test match it has been until now with Bangladesh. With a team that can beat the best on any day, here is a team which won everything except the finals in the ODIs.<\/p>\n

And then, in the walkup to the match, Sehwag suggested that Bangladesh were an ordinary side. Well, in the first innings, Shahadat Hossain and Shakib Hassan ran through the entire side giving less than 250 runs on the board. If it wasn\u2019t for the century from Sachin Tendulkar, India would have been in deeper soup!<\/p>\n

Thankfully Mishra, Zaheer, Sreesanth and Ishant made sure that Bangladesh did not cross India\u2019s score of 243\u2026 just about! We hae recently see the lower order batsmen providing enough of discomfort to Indian team. There was a time in the B\u2019desh innings when they were 98 for 6. From there they rebuilt to 242, thanks to a 108 runs partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah.<\/p>\n

The Indian team has started its reply and is 122 for loss of Loud talking Sehwag, who got out in a flourish. Thankfully the most consistent Indian batsman in recent times, Gautam Gambhir is still there and going by the two fours in the end by Mishra, it seems that this guy is also not a pushover. Still the big guns like Dravid, Sachin, Laxman, Yuvraj have to come and bat and hopefully they will do better than last time. (Scorecard<\/a>)<\/p>\n
