Those using fake and forged documents in the U.S. can now be traced easily, thanks to a new software developed by Dr. Gaurav Gupta from Kurukshetra in Haryana. The software and methodology developed by Dr. Gupta helps to identify and quantify imperfections and lead investigators to the devices used for producing fake documents and digital signatures.<\/p>\n

According to Dr. Gupta, the perpetrators of such crimes were ignorant of the fact that the imperfection was unique to each device. \u201cThe system will help us locate the source and even the scanner and printer used to commit the forgery,\u201d he said. Recently, the young 30-year-old scientist was honored by the former President, Dr. A.P.J.
