A Team of excavators from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has found a strong connection between the present excavation site at Khirsara and other Harappan sites in the state. For the last two months, the team has been excavating at the site near Bhuj.<\/p>\n
The excavations at Khirsara village are part of a three-year-long project, which started by the end of last year, to find a possible trade network between the Harappan sites during the Indus Valley Civilisation. \u201cThe team is excavating at a small village called Gadwadu, near Khirsara. We have found various pottery works and structures from the site. Parts of the structures of houses and stone walls were found buried in the fortified fields of the village.
