<\/iframe><\/p>\nWhen we become moms it often feels like we lose part of our creative selves.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>The things we used to enjoy doing become memories.\u00a0It\u2019s easy to start viewing motherhood as a choice that voids all the other\u00a0things we thought we\u2019d do in life.<\/strong>\u00a0However, God can use motherhood to refine our gifts and talents and use them right where we are \u2014 at home.<\/strong>\u00a0Now, by \u201cat home\u201d I\u2019m\u00a0not just talking to stay-at-home moms. And so I\u2019m encouraging you to find a way, find a time, find a tribe, find a group of women that can cheer you on in those things that you used to love before you became a mom.\u201d <\/em>\u2014 Wendy Speake<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Wendy shares about her friend,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kristinschell.com\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Kristen Schell<\/a>\u00a0who used a turquoise table to begin practicing hospitality when she was a mom.<\/li>\n<li>Wendy talks about how\u00a0the Great Commission\u00a0starts at home<\/strong>\u00a0with your kids and that you can use your talents and dreams during your season of motherhood to share God\u2019s love with not only your kids, but with others\u2026even when feeling \u201cConfined, yet unhindered.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe dream come true of motherhood intersects every other dream.\u201d <\/em>\u2014 Wendy Speake<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThis is the way God planned it, whether it\u2019s jotting down the dreams in your notebook, or pulling out your sewing machine again, or working to invent new recipes, taking pictures, or pulling out the pottery wheel \u2014or whatever it is, when you\u2019re a mom, all the other dreams start at home, too.<\/strong>\u00a0It starts here. But it\u00a0can<\/u>\u00a0\u201d <\/em>\u2014 Wendy Speake<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/share?text=God+made+us+in+His+creative+image+for+a+reason..b%2Fc+there%E2%80%99s+gospel+power+in+creativity+%40WendySpeake&url=https:\/\/kristiclover.com\/sjp-008-wendy-speake-life-creative-starts-home\/&via=KristiClover\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">\u201cGod made us in His creative image for a reason. And one of those main reasons is because there\u2019s gospel power in creativity. There are so many ways to get creative while \u2018confined\u2019 at home.\u201d \u2014 Wendy Speake<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u201cThat Great Commission call actually starts at home. The Scripture says first in Jerusalem, and then in Judea and Samaria, and from there, out into the world (Acts 1:8).
