Real Lives of NFL Wives with Tracy and Freddy Keiaho<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

This week in the \u201cShed\u201d are our tools of the week \u2013 founders of A Victors Voice \u2013 Tracy & Freddy Keiaho.<\/p>\n

\"RealListen in as Tim interviews former Super Bowl Champion and Indianapolis Colts Linebacker Freddy Keiaho and his lovely wife Tracey. Tracey founded her ministry \u201cA Victors Voice\u201d<\/a> after seeing the deep need of NFL wives to connection relationally and find community, healing, and support through a unique lifestyle and season of life. Specifically Tracey has lead the charge for supporting spouses of retired NFL players who face massive life and career transition.<\/p>\n

Freddy makes reference to the 78% of NFL athletes whom after 2 years of retiring are self identified as bankrupt as well as divorced, depressed, unemployed, or in life distress. This creates a uniquely stressful time for families and spouses specifically.<\/p>\n

Tracey was on the front lines of transition as Freddy retired from the NFL due to head injuries. They moved multiple times, changed jobs, communities and strained family dynamics. However, through other NFL wives Tracy found a unique and common bond that went beyond life situation but into deep community with other women that encouraged her and grieved with her. The foundation of those relationships also revealed a common need for God\u2019s grace and empowerment to heal marriages and find direction for the families in transition. All of this became the seeds for a vision which is now \u201cA Victors Voice.\u201d\"Real<\/p>\n

As Tracey and Freddy go on to explain their vision: A Victor\u2019s Voice is a living expression of God\u2019s love and comfort to a community of women who are transitioning into new realities after the NFL. We are a community of sisters; we are wives of retired NFL players who are connected through shared experiences. We come from all different backgrounds, yet we understand each other because we have similar journeys, a mutual suffering.<\/p>\n


\nOur focus is<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>TRANSITION<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0after the NFL and how hard that is! <\/em>We hope to speak comfort, truth and life into each other\u2019s suffering. Our mission is to connect women to a real voice, a real person and a real story in hopes for a real change in our lives. We want to be apart of God\u2019s help and rescue in this tough transition; we start by bravely sharing our story.\u00a0We provide a safe place for women to do this through conferences, events and connecting women to women locally who have been through similar challenges. By being vulnerable with our struggles and hardships we can bring these unique issues to light and\u00a0PREVENT<\/strong>\u00a0isolation and\u00a0SILENT SUFFERING<\/strong>. The prayer is to replace fear with\u00a0HOPE<\/strong>, replace brokenness with\u00a0RESTORATION<\/strong><\/em>, and replace the feeling of being defeated with the\u00a0VICTORY<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0of Jesus.\"Real<\/em><\/p>\n
