Last week I had the great joy of talking with writer, speaker, and broadcaster\u2014and my neighbor at the Patheos Catholic Channel<\/strong><\/a>\u2014Pat Gohn<\/strong> about my recent pilgrimage experience, and about pilgrimage as a spiritual discipline and a metaphor for the journey of faith. Pat is a devoted pilgrim herself, and has a particular love for Fatima, the place that most moved and surprised me last month.<\/p>\n

Pat recorded our conversation for her Among Women<\/em> podcast (#148: Coming Home on Pilgrimage)<\/em>, and it\u2019s up live today here<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or from iTunes<\/strong><\/a>. I\u2019ll have a summary post on the Archdiocese of Cincinnati\u2019s 2012 pilgrimage<\/strong><\/a>, including the terrific reunion we had on Sunday at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein<\/strong><\/a> and its neighbor Shrine of the Holy Relics<\/strong><\/a> (a pilgrimage site all on its own) later today.
