This is a great introduction to the sacramental theology in historical perspective. The essays on Zwingli, Cranmer, Menno Simons, and the Wesley\u2019s were excellent.<\/p>\n

Sadly, the only thing missing \u2013 and its a biggy for me \u2013 are discussions of Ignatius of Antioch and Irenaeus of Lyons.<\/p>\n
