The Voice <\/em>(TV) looks like a very interesting translation\/paraphrase of the Bible. Here\u2019s a few NT examples:<\/p>\nMatt 1:21
\nShe will have a son, and you will name Him Jesus,\u00a0which means \u201cthe Lord saves<\/em>,\u201d<\/em> because this Jesus is the person who will save\u00a0all of<\/em> His people from sin<\/p>\nMark 1:1
\nThis is the beginning of the good news of Jesus, the Anointed One,\u00a0the Liberating King,<\/em> the Son of God.<\/p>\nLuke 4:18<\/p>\n
The Spirit of the Lord the Eternal One is on Me.<\/div>\n
Why?<\/em> Because the Eternal designated Me<\/div>\nto be His representative to the poor, to preach good news to them.<\/div>\n
He sent Me to tell those who are held captive that they can now be set free,<\/div>\n
and to tell the blind that they can now see.<\/div>\n
He sent Me to liberate those held down by oppression.<\/div>\n

John1:1
\nBefore time itself was measured, the Voice was speaking.\u00a0The Voice was and is God.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Acts 2:36
\nReconsider your lives; change your direction. Participate in the ceremonial washing of baptism in the name of Jesus God\u2019s Anointed,\u00a0
the Liberating King.<\/em> Then your sins will be forgiven, and the gift of the Holy Spirit will be yours.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Rom 3:22-25<\/div>\n
This redeeming justice comes through the faithfulness of Jesus, the Anointed One,\u00a0
the Liberating King,<\/em> who makes salvation a reality for all who believe\u2014without the slightest partiality.\u00a0\u00a0You see, all have sinned, and all their futile attempts to reach God in His glory fail.\u00a0Yet they are now saved and set right by His free gift of grace through the redemption available only in Jesus the Anointed.\u00a0When God set Him up to be the sacrifice\u2014the seat of mercy where sins are atoned through faith\u2014His blood became the demonstration of God\u2019s own restorative justice. All of this confirms His faithfulness\u00a0to the promise,<\/em> for over the course of human history God patiently held back as He dealt with the sins being committed.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
1 Cor 1:18<\/div>\n
For people who are stumbling toward ruin, the message of the cross is nothing but a tall tale for fools by a fool. But for those of us who are already experiencing the reality of being rescued\u00a0
and made right<\/em>, it is nothing short of God\u2019s power.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
1 Tim 2:11-14<\/div>\n
It\u2019s best if<\/em> a woman learns quietly and orderly in complete submission.\u00a0Now, Timothy,<\/em> it\u2019s not my habit to allow women to teach in a way that wrenches authority from a man. As I said, it\u2019s best if<\/em> a woman learns quietly and orderly.\u00a0This is<\/em> because Adam was formed first\u00a0by God<\/em>, then Eve.\u00a0Plus, it wasn\u2019t Adam who was tricked; it was she\u2014the woman was the one who was fooled and disobeyed\u00a0God\u2019s command first<\/em>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Jas 2:14-17<\/div>\n
Brothers and sisters, it doesn\u2019t make any sense to say you have faith and act in a way that denies that faith.\u00a0
Mere talk never gets you very far, and<\/em> a commitment to Jesus only in words will not save you.\u00a0It would be like seeing a brother or sister without any clothes\u00a0out in the cold<\/em> and begging for food, and\u00a0saying, \u201cShalom,\u00a0friend,<\/em> you should get inside where it\u2019s warm and eat something,\u201d but doing nothing about his needs\u2014leaving him cold and alone on the street.<\/em> What good would your words alone do?\u00a0The same is true with faith. Without actions,\u00a0faith is useless. By itself,<\/em> it\u2019s\u00a0as good as<\/em> dead.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
1 John 2:1<\/div>\n
You are<\/em> my little children, so I am writing these things to help you avoid sin. If, however, any believer does sin, we have a\u00a0high-powered<\/em> defense lawyer\u2014Jesus the Anointed, the righteous\u2014arguing on our behalf<\/em> before the Father.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Rev 1:4-5<\/div>\n
I,<\/em> John, to the seven churches in Asia: May you experience God\u2019s favor\u00a0and rest<\/em> in the peace that comes from the One who is, the One who was, and the One who is coming; from the seven Spirits,\u00a0the Perfect Spirit,<\/em> constantly before God\u2019s throne;\u00a0and from Jesus the Anointed, the Witness who is\u00a0true and<\/em> faithful, the first to emerge from death\u2019s cold womb, the\u00a0chosen<\/em> Ruler over all the kings\u00a0and rulers<\/em> of the earth.\u00a0To the One who loves us and liberated us from the grip of<\/em> our evil deeds through His very own blood\u00a0and who established us to be\u00a0His<\/em> kingdom and priests for God, His Father.
