Be careful with me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s what my 3 yr. old, Rhys says when I change his diaper.\u00a0 Instead of pitching a fit over a cold wet wipe, or writhing around as if he\u2019s actually<\/em> being hurt he began to articulate exactly what needed to happen when I wipe him.\u00a0 He needed me to take care.<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a><\/p>\n

Think of me, Mama.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s what Rhys said when we rode bikes together the last time it was warm in Michigan.\u00a0 It was hard to keep pace with him without toppling over so I\u2019d go out a little ahead and circle back around.\u00a0 He didn\u2019t like when I left him.\u00a0 He wasn\u2019t ready yet to string together the words, \u201cget yo tail feather back here, woman!\u201d So he asked me to think of him.\u00a0 He needed me to remember he was still there\u2026<\/p>\n
