IT\u2019S THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!:<\/strong> 1. Conservative, moralizing politician gets caught [EDITED to remove unnecessarily crass description; \u201cgets caught\u201d pretty much covers it\u2026].<\/p>\n

2. Conservative Christian commentator wails about how could he?<\/em> with much throwing of the fiftieth stone. I would never!<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Liberal commentator (Christian or not\u2013all look same!) inveighs against the obvious Schadenfreude and piling-on of aforementioned conservative Christian types. Drink if they cite \u201cJudge not, lest ye be judged\u201d; drain your drink if they bother looking up the chapter and verse. Drain somebody else\u2019s drink if they specify that they\u2019re atheist and they really, really think adultery is bad, and they\u2019d totally shame the initial bad guy as much as you would, but they just can\u2019t help themselves<\/em> in pointing out the hypocrisy!<\/p>\n

4. Bitchy blogger notes that patting yourself on the back for your rejection of pride might actually be\u2026 prideful. Thus, she judges your judgeyness of others\u2019 judging of sexual sin! It would be so awesome <\/em>if this action were virtuous!<\/p>\n

5. Lather, rinse, repent.<\/p>\n

I know so many good people<\/a>, I mean, where do I start?<\/em><\/p>\n
