I highly recommend the book. It has flaws\u2013I\u2019d say the beginning and the end are the weakest parts, oddly enough\u2013but it\u2019s absolutely worth your time if you are at all interested in the nature of and controversy over marriage and family structure.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and since I can, here\u2019s what I think was the most interesting thing cut (for length reasons) from the version of the interview I submitted to the <em>Post<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Q: <\/strong>What\u2019s in this book that is unusual?<\/p>\n<p><strong>A: <\/strong>Being against gay marriage should not mean you\u2019re against gay people. I talk about the equal dignity of sexual love, extending acceptance to gay and lesbian people.
