Anyway. I\u2019m still not sure whether \u201cDD\u201d made any sense. Apparently this site <\/a> OOPS! this <\/a>site! offers some guidance. I will say that I am really, really, REALLY looking forward to seeing it again. It feels sprawling or sloppy in structure, but I\u2019m pretty sure every moment was crafted to advance the point\u2013whatever that point was! The main thing I\u2019m still trying to figure out is what the $#@! was up with Jim Cunningham and his final fate, so if you have theories on what happened to him and how it plays into the main questions of the movie, send \u2019em along.<\/p>\n

I described \u201cDD\u201d to Ratty as \u201ca perfect <\/em>late \u201980s\/early \u201990s teen-rebellion flick\u2013like \u2018Heathers\u2019 or \u2018Pump Up the Volume\u2019 only much <\/em>better\u2013crossed with a Christian or quasi-Christian apocalyptic movie.\u201d<\/p>\n
