In which Leah Libresco<\/a> talks about her move from Patheos\u2019s atheist portal to its Catholic one<\/a>. I thought this was a sweet and moving post which is pretty clearly about a work in progress. Conversion is for life (not just for Christmas!) and we\u2019re all making mistakes and making progress day by day. I\u2019m super excited to see where this goes.<\/p>\n

Also, because I know she\u2019ll appreciate it, I must once again quote David Ives\u2019s play The New Jerusalem: The Interrogation of Baruch de Spinoza<\/em>: Valkenburgh: You spoke about philosophy with a simple girl? About what Plato thinks and what Aristotle thinks?<\/span><\/p>\n

Spinoza: No, about what I think and what she thinks. Plato and Aristotle? You start listening to them<\/span> and before you know it you\u2019re believing in rabbits out of hats, or the Virgin Birth!<\/strong><\/p>\n
