Question of divine grammar:\u00a0 Can God be the subject of a declaratory sentence?<\/p>\n

A bird keeps chirping the same tune.\u00a0 I keep wondering why it does that, until I wonder why I wonder.<\/p>\n

Who breathed out the austere clouds hovering over that snow-crowned mountain hazed in heights of blue air?<\/p>\n

I saw a large paint brush lying in a gutter on a street in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

This canvas isn\u2019t finished:\u00a0 I hope the artist will come back.<\/p>\n

Surfers surf toward land,
\nSunbathers face to sea.
\nIf waves broke toward the sea,
\nWhat fun would surfing be?<\/p>\n

Above the beach, a rock banded with shapes and colors sticks out of a cliff banded with hues and textures, cloven by flash-flooded rivulets.\u00a0 The cosmic mixer has no \u201coff\u201d button.<\/p>\n
