Palin\u2019s hate rhetoric is cause for concern and supspicion and should not be taken lightly in this post civil rights era.
\n<\/p>\n

\"Do Something\" is a national organization that supports teenagers by \"insipiring, supporting and celebrating\u00a0a generation of doers.\"\u00a0 To be sure, DoSomething is a generation of\u00a0\"people who see the need to do something, believe in their ability to get it done, and then take action.\" [taken\u00a0from www.dosomething.org<\/a>] <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

When I think about Do Something, I think of\u00a0Senator Barack Obama and his spirit of inspiring, supporting and celebrating others\u2019\u00a0gifts.\u00a0 He believes in investing in people and their communities, and teaching them how to take control of their own fate and destiny by \"Doing Something\" in their local communities, which necessarily expands out to the world.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

That is my message to everyone who reads this blog today.\u00a0 Please, before November 4, 2008, DO SOMETHING!\u00a0 Volunteer to register people in your community; volunteer to make phone calls from your home; volunteer to drive people to the polls; commit to learning about Barack Obama\u2019s policies and platform so that you can discuss it intelligently with others who may not know or who may be articulating erroneous information they may have received from conservative radio talk show hosts. <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In this era of Palin-mania, it will become crucial for voters to examine her [deceiving] rhetoric to protect the family and patriotic values of America.\u00a0 Guised under [a] \"love for country\" and\u00a0[a] \"Country First\" campaign slogan,\u00a0Palin is inciting hate among her conservative\u00a0base and is attracting\u00a0people to her rallies who are\u00a0\"time warped\" and who have not moved beyond their 60s thinking of separate but equal! <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Left\u00a0unchecked, this type of campaigning can do the country and the people of this country more harm than good.\u00a0 In fact, it could precipitate into a race war should Barack Obama be successful in his bid for the presidency!\u00a0 All of the hate that has been bottled up\u00a0and thus released through negative energy at Palin\u00a0Klan rallies could unleash themselves on the country. <\/p>\n

Do Something people!\u00a0 We can\u2019t sit idly by and allow this to happen.\u00a0 We can\u2019t get on the phone and simply rant and rave with our friends about what is occurring at the Palin rallies.\u00a0 We can\u2019t afford to forward\u00a0negative emails\u00a0and videos about Palin\u2019s behavior and expect something different to happen on Election Day to change things.\u00a0 No!\u00a0 In order to effect change in the world, it will take action. <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

So, my message to you is \"Don\u2019t\u00a0just stand there\u2026Do Something!\"<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

You have a right and a responsibility under the constitution and as a Christian to become involved in\u00a0changing and shaping policy that will govern how we, as Christians, live our lives, especially\u00a0if those policies are in direct conflict with what God expects of and from a civil society. <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Make no mistake about it, McCain\u2019s policies will once again favor the rich, the fat cats on wallstreet, much to the\u00a0detriment of the poor.\u00a0 In fact, the poor are being asked to bail out the fat cats on wallstreet by using\u00a0their low wage earning salaries to pay\u00a0approximately $5-7,000 toward a debacle that almost led to the collapse of our economy.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

If the prophet Amos was among us today, he would say [and this is a contemporization of Amos 8:4-7]\u00a0 \"Listen up you Vipers who swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land fail\u2026You are dishonest in your dealings with the poor in order to pad your pockets.\u00a0 God has sworn by Himself that he will not forget any of your deeds.\" <\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

So, the next time you think about getting angry with Palin about her hate rhetoric, call someone and ask them if they need a ride to the polls.\u00a0 The next time you become incensed with Palin for perpetrating a fraud by falsely guising herself as a sweet, pious, angel of light, make sure that you volunteer to make calls for Obama.\u00a0 The next time you think that you have had your fill of what is occuring during this campaign season, ask your friends to go to Obama\u2019s website (http:\/\/www.barackobama.com<\/a>) and make a donation toward the cause of liberation and hope!\u00a0 <\/p>\n
