So the brand relied on a time-honored way to get attention: openly courting religious controversy. The ad for their new line features two models doing things like posing angelically in front of a wooden stake and one pouring water on the other\u2019s head.<\/p>\n<p>Though the ad is entitled \u201cHeresy,\u201d I don\u2019t really see what it has to do with the jewelry \u2013 although some of the pieces have names like \u201cAfter Eden\u201d and \u201cThe Snake Made Me Do It,\u201d they don\u2019t contain religious images or symbols. If anything, this ad just seems like a way to try and create controversy and build name recognition, and it\u2019s pretty transparent. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adrants.com\/2011\/11\/fashion-brand-bjorg-uses-heresy-motif-to.php\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">To quote AdRants<\/a>, \u201cnever before has that \u201cwhatev\u201d approach been better illustrated than in this Bjorg Jewelery [sic] ad.\u201d<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"HERESY\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oUffEW_7VO4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Norway-based jewelry line Bjorg has been featured in magazines like Vogue, Elle, and Nylon, but it doesn\u2019t have household name recognition the way that, say, Alexis Bittar does.
