The other night, Jon Stewart<\/strong> interviewed basketball great Shaquille O\u2019Neal<\/strong> on The Daily Show<\/em>. Near the end of the interview, Jon mentioned that his son loves Shaq and wants to be a pro basketball player, and Jon wanted to know how he was going to break it to his son that Jews aren\u2019t known for their basketball skills. Shaq replied, \u201cTell him Uncle Shaq said baruch hashem<\/em>.\u201d That expression means anything from \u201cGood luck!\u201d to \u201cThank G-d,\u201d but its usage here is perfect.<\/p>\n
