\n<\/span>When it was pre-election season, I put up with all the political posts on my Facebook feed. Though they contained enough vitriol to blow up my phone, I thought the conversations were necessary. So I joined in some, and looked forward to the day when family and friends\u2019 posts of good news and cuteness were no longer lost in the muck and mire of a nation gone cuckoo.<\/span>
\n
That moment came about three or four weeks ago. Then the Inauguration happened. Then Donald Trump started acting like a man on a mission and all the Snowflakes of the world just couldn\u2019t handle it and voila! My feed is once again littered with virtual cow pies.<\/span>
\n
Well you add to it, sister!!<\/i><\/span>
\n
And it\u2019s true. I do add to the amount of posts (hopefully not the virtual cow pies). My hope is to simply be a voice of reason, a voice of kindness without compromising my own beliefs. Because that\u2019s what America needs: people chatting kindly, affectionately loving one another and yet sticking to truth.<\/span>
\n
Getting online and spewing hate is the easiest thing to do, and having grown up in a highly political family surrounded and outnumbered by brothers and all boy cousins has equipped me with all the tools I need to be the best of the best as far as knowing how to dish out some what for.<\/i> In other words, I can cuss and insult with the best of them, if I let myself. And I admit I\u2019ve been undergoing some rigorous temptation to let \u2018er rip \u2013 to roll with the likes of Michelle Malkin and Tomi Larhen and chew all y\u2019all liberals to bits with my pearly whites. Because for the love \u2026. whether you agree with him or not, plucking Donald Trump down to his capillaries is not helpful.<\/i><\/span>
\n
Malkin and Larhen are such pretty ladies who are not exhibiting very lady-like qualities if you ask me. The snarls. The name-calling. The unchecked anger-spewing, liberal-hating messages. The few times I\u2019ve watched them makes me just sit back and say Yikes! <\/i>and ask Why? Why try and get a right message across with wrong methods? <\/i>Like the women at The Women\u2019s March<\/a>, they have an opportunity to put out political and social pleas, but their delivery fails to make me want to listen.<\/span>
\n
I miss the days when people were polite and kind \u2013 especially on a public forum \u2013\u00a0 and this is my open lament. There\u2019s really no other purpose to this blog. I\u2019m just tired of the fighting and want to say so.<\/span>

Kinda like let the Redeemed of the Lord say so<\/i>, only let the politically exhausted say so.<\/i><\/span>

So. All that to say that if you\u2019re wanting someone smooth to listen to, and your political views are conservative, Google Stacy on the Right<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 or just click that link. I\u2019ve not listened to her extensively, but what I have heard thus far is calm and reasonable and very much lacking angry snark.<\/span>

Just a suggestion. And a way out for those of you who want to keep up on the issues without subjecting yourselves to miserable liberal-bashing.<\/span>

I\u2019ll close by saying Congratulations to Judge Gorsuch on his nomination for SCOTUS. It\u2019s a pleasure to have you aboard. I pray first of all that you will be confirmed, second, that God will bless you, keep you safe, and give you wisdom and courage to stand for life and liberty.<\/span>
