Experience opens us to humility and humility opens us to compassion, which means to suffer with, to keep company with, to be with. Nothing can as strong and soft at the same time as compassion.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Side by Side<\/strong><\/p>\n

Until we trip, we don\u2019t understand<\/p>\n

why it takes so long to get up. Until<\/p>\n

we lose our way, we have no patience<\/p>\n

for indecision. Eventually, we land<\/p>\n

so close to the shallow breathing of<\/p>\n

another that it doesn\u2019t matter where<\/p>\n

we\u2019re from or where we\u2019re going, if<\/p>\n

we\u2019re living like a waterfall or asleep<\/p>\n

with our eyes open. The only thing<\/p>\n

that matters is the hand we offer and<\/p>\n

the assurance that everything will be<\/p>\n

alright, though we really don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n
