In real life, crystal skulls<\/a> are shaped like human skulls, and some people like to speculate that these skulls might be the product of alien civilizations. But that\u2019s too indirect for George Lucas \u2014 who has already said<\/a> that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull<\/a><\/i> will be more like a \u201cscience-fiction movie\u201d than any previous film in this series \u2014 so, to judge from a few photos that came out over the last few days, it looks like Lucas has gone ahead and based his newest movie\u2019s supernatural artifact on an extra-terrestrial<\/i> skull. Apparently, in Lucas\u2019s world, aliens didn\u2019t just make<\/i> the crystal skulls, they are<\/i> the crystal skulls.<\/p>\n

First, Action Figure Insider<\/a> posted this image on Friday, taken from a brochure put out by toymaker Takara Neduke:<\/p>\n
