The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/i> has an update on Year One<\/a><\/i>, the \u201cbiblical comedy\u201d that is currently being produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Harold Ramis:<\/span><\/p>\n

Actress-screenwriter June Diane Raphael<\/a> is in final negotiations to play Jack Black\u2019s love interest in Harold Ramis\u2019 biblical comedy \u201cYear One\u201d for producer Judd Apatow and Columbia.<\/p>\n

Raphael will play Maya, a woman who becomes romantically involved with Zed (Black) and another man in her village. \u201cSuperbad<\/a>\u201d leads Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse also star in the ensemble comedy.<\/p>\n

Oliver Platt, David Cross, Vinnie Jones and Juno Temple also are in final negotiations for the film, written by Ramis, Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. Principal photography is set to begin in January for the project, which Matt Tolmach and Jonathan Kadin are overseeing for the studio. . . .<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
