Matters are complicated further, though, by the fact that Vulcans can live for two centuries or more; <a href=\"http:\/\/memory-alpha.org\/en\/wiki\/Sarek\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Sarek<\/a> himself was 103 when Lenard first played him during the original series. \u2014 <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.startrek.com\/startrek\/view\/news\/article\/2313444.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">StarTrek.com<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"2\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">2.<\/a> Producer Brian Grazer wants <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/angels-demons-hit-by-writers-strike.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Angels &amp; Demons<\/a><\/i>, the sequel or prequel to <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/01\/da-vinci-code-article-archive.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Da Vinci Code<\/a><\/i> (2006), to be \u201cless reverential\u201d than its predecessor. Well, that only makes sense, I guess, since the book did give me <a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2006\/04\/pre-da-vinci-howler-from-dan-brown.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">a good laugh or two<\/a>. Then again, weren\u2019t some audiences already tittering during <i>The Da Vinci Code<\/i> as it was? \u2014 <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/11\/19\/business\/media\/19grazer.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">New York Times<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"3\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">3.<\/a> <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/movie-to-explore-missing-years-of-jesus.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Aquarian Gospel<\/a><\/i> will not only take a peek at the so-called \u201cmissing years\u201d of Jesus\u2019 adolescence and early adulthood \u2014 it will also be \u201ca fantasy action adventure account of Jesus\u2019s life with the three wise men as his mentors\u201d! And although \u201cthe producers say the film will feature a \u2018young and beautiful\u2019 princess, it is not clear whether Jesus is to have a love interest.\u201d And it will be \u201cshot using actors and computer animation like <a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2004\/03\/newsbites-burial-hermione-300-escape.html#3\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">300<\/a>\u201c. This has the makings of a really tacky camp classic. \u2014 <i><a href=\"http:\/\/film.guardian.co.uk\/news\/story\/0,,2213087,00.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Guardian<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/biblefilms.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/guardian-on-aquarian-gospel.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Bible Films Blog<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"4\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">4.<\/a> <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/01\/harry-potter-article-archive.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Harry Potter<\/a><\/i> author J.K. Rowling has given one of her most interesting \u2014 and most spiritually-inclined \u2014 interviews yet, to <a href=\"http:\/\/extra.volkskrant.nl\/animatie\/harry_potter\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">a Dutch newspaper<\/a>. It covers many bases, but the bits about her beliefs and upbringing are rather interesting. \u2014 <i><a href=\"http:\/\/hogwartsprofessor.com\/?p=222\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">HogwartsProfessor.com<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"5\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">5.<\/a> <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/12\/peter-weir-barbara-hodgson-go-to-india.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Shantaram<\/a><\/i> is the latest film to have its plug pulled thanks to the writers\u2019 strike. When I mentioned it here two years ago, it was going to be directed by Peter Weir; now, the thwarted director is Mira Nair. One constant, though, has been star Johnny Depp, who was attached to the film under both directors.
