\u2026 here is one odd tidbit in that Variety<\/i> story<\/a> that I just mentioned<\/a> that deserves a post of its own:<\/span><\/p>\n

Hopes are highest for \u201cPrince Caspian<\/a>,\u201d which will cost at least $100 million. Granat promises that the battle-filled sequel<\/a> is easily distinguishable from its predecessor<\/a> and the third pic on the sked, \u201cThe Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Walden and Disney recently shifted the release date for \u201cDawn Treader\u201d from 2009 to 2010 due to the schedules of the young actors. The shift will also avoid a conflict of having to promote the second film and shoot the third at the same time.<\/p>\n

Producers had announced<\/a> at Comic-Con in July that auds could expect one \u201cNarnia\u201d installment each May for the next few years. Granat is committing publicly to only four or five, saying that \u201cSilver Chair\u201d might be the best bet for the fourth, followed by \u201cMagician\u2019s Nephew,\u201d but he admits that there are a multitude of possibilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of stories to be taken from the seven books,\u201d he notes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
