As of today \u2014 the 17th day of its release, and the end of its third weekend in release \u2014 it has made less<\/i> money than either of the previous movies had made at this point<\/a> in their releases.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s if we focus on the domestic charts, at any rate.
